Where do I participate in-person?

First Church is at the Intersection of East Douglas and E 42nd St in Des Moines

What time is service in-person?

Services at First Church of God are on Sundays at 10 am. The time is the same whether you choose to join us online or in-person! Our online services are streamed live on Youtube - you'll be able to engage wherever you're joining from.

How do I join an in-person community?

There is a place for you in an online or in-person group. Life Groups are an easy place to belong and meet lifelong friends. To join an online or in-person community, visit our Groups page and choose the group that works best for you!

Is there something for my kids?

Yes! Sunday morning Kids' Church after 10:00 am for ages 4 to 5th graders. Nursery up to age 4. All children gather in the Sanctuary initially for a couple of songs; then they are dismissed (escorted) to their respective Kids' Church. Bible-based curriculum utilizing Bible readings, videos, crafts, games, and music. Parents are emailed extra talking points of lessons so they may reinforce what is taught. Emphasis is on establishing a relationship with Jesus and following him. Currently, the Mid-week Kids Zone is suspended.
